Ye’s partnership with Nike has finally ran its course according to the rappers new partnership deal with Adidas.
According to billboard.com, He confirmed his new endeavors with the german sports clothing brand on New York’s Hot 97 Radio show Complex Reports With Angie Martinez. Apparently, he confirmed on the show that he never received Royalties from Nike because he wasnt a professional athlete so his decision to work with Adidas was motivated by the Royalties that he will be receiving with the partnership. During his interview, he revealed “I took the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family”. .
There isnt a set date for the dual release of his Red October’s shoe line but we’ll definitely be on the look out.
