No more good girls, bad girls are the new crave. From Rihanna to Teyanna Taylor, tomboy chic is the new girl on the streets. The style came to the scene with artists like TLC, and the late Aaliyah. The R&B princess (Aaliyah) was known for her baggy, cool, and short showing sex appeal. Today, it can be found on stars such as Miley Cyrus, and Cassie, even celebrity stylist India Monae. MOD features India Monae pieces: From Everyday Wear to Wild Chic

MOD MAGAZINE: Volume 2; Issue 3; Summer 2013

The wild is something serious especially in the world of fashion. MOD (M-O-D) Magazine recently released their summer 2013 issue, featuring a few pieces from India Monae. The issue features the Eva dress layered with the Zara dress (now available at http://indiamonae.bigcartel.com/) shown on model Gwen captured by photographer Loretta Huston.

Both styles can be dressed from everyday attire to night wear. India Monae went out for a day in the sun wearing the Zara dress, comfortably fitted with a panama hat and gladiator heels. She also wore the Eva dress for her Birthday weekend styled with a chic pony tail and clutch.

Soaking in the sun, eating good food, and sitting by the pool is the scene for Atlanta singer Cressida new video “We living life.” The tune embodies the true meaning of having a good time with its catchy hook “We living life, have a good time, have a good time.” The single is only the beginning for the upcoming star. With a debut album Dream under her belt, she is definitely on her way to stardom.

Recently, India Monae, also featured in the video, styled the artist for her cover shoot with photographer Elvis Piedra. Cressida was captured in a one piece by U.K designer Simon Preen.
